Cajun Maple Balsamic Pears

This is easy, spicy, light and unusual dessert item to do on the BBQ - try it out!

Ingredients:
2 tsps Maple Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp Cajun Quickie Dry Spice Rub
Fresh Pears - your choice of variety

Directions:
  1. Cut and quarter pears - peel skin and set aside in a bowl
  2. Measure the Cajun Quickie Dry Spice Rub and sprinkle it on to your bowl of pears.
  3. Sprinkle the Maple Balsamic Vinegar onto your pears. Fold and toss these two ingredients gently, until lightly coated - please be careful of your pears!
  4. BBQ on medium heat in a BBQ basket so that pears do not touch the grill.  Toss gently and heat until warm through (approximately 5 minutes).
  5. Serve (while warm or cold) with a light drizzle of Blueberry Syrup or a dollop of whip cream and a sprig of fresh  mint.
