This is easy, spicy, light and unusual dessert item to do on the BBQ - try it out!
Ingredients: 2 tsps Maple Balsamic Vinegar 1 tbsp Cajun Quickie Dry Spice Rub Fresh Pears - your choice of variety
Directions:
- Cut and quarter pears - peel skin and set aside in a bowl
- Measure the Cajun Quickie Dry Spice Rub and sprinkle it on to your bowl of pears.
- Sprinkle the Maple Balsamic Vinegar onto your pears. Fold and toss these two ingredients gently, until lightly coated - please be careful of your pears!
- BBQ on medium heat in a BBQ basket so that pears do not touch the grill. Toss gently and heat until warm through (approximately 5 minutes).
- Serve (while warm or cold) with a light drizzle of Blueberry Syrup or a dollop of whip cream and a sprig of fresh mint.
